About
Ember Hub started as a group chat where a few of us swapped screenshots of games we played during long commutes. At some point we realised we were writing more about them than actually playing, so we turned it into a proper site. Everything you read here comes from hands-on time with each game.,We focus on one simple thing: games that work fully offline. If a title demands a login every five minutes or stops working in airplane mode, it usually doesn't make the cut. We care about what you can enjoy when the train goes into a tunnel.,Picking what to cover is mostly instinct plus a long shared list. Someone spots a game, plays it for a week, and if it's interesting enough we assign a proper review. We don't chase release calendars and we don't review things we haven't finished.,The team is small and that's on purpose. It keeps the voice consistent and means nobody is rushing a write-up to hit a quota. We'd rather publish less and mean every word.
Marek Dvořák — Marek has been playing handheld and mobile games since the days of monochrome screens. He coordinates the reviews and still insists on finishing every game before it gets published.
