A week with Legends of Slots

June 11, 2026 · Marek Dvořák

I didn't expect much from Legends of Slots when I first tapped install. The name sounds busy, but the game itself is a calm little reel-matching puzzle, and I ended up playing it every day for a week straight.

The idea is straightforward. You spin a set of reels, symbols land, and you chain or rearrange them to hit the goals printed on each board. Early boards are gentle, then the game starts locking tiles and layering extra rules so you have to plan which matches to make first.

What won me over was how well it fits a phone. Everything is one-handed, the sessions are short, and it never once asked me to go online. I cleared most of a chapter in airplane mode during a dead zone on the train.

If I had a complaint, it's that the later worlds reuse some board layouts. But the art keeps things fresh, and as a quiet thing to do in a queue, Legends of Slots earns its spot on the home screen.
