In praise of short games you can finish
Not every game needs a hundred hours. Some of the most memorable things I've played on a phone were short, deliberate, and done before they outstayed their welcome.
Hollow Lantern is exactly that. A couple of sittings and you've seen the whole thing, but it lingers in your head afterward in a way that a hundred-hour grind rarely does.
Short games also suit phones. You can actually reach the end between other things in life, and an offline one means you never lose momentum waiting for a server.
So don't sleep on the small stuff. A complete experience you finish beats an endless one you abandon.
